About BIZLINK
BIZLINK is a not-for-profit incorporated Disability Employment Service that assists people with disability to prepare for, find and keep a job in open employment, including ongoing support where required. BIZLINK is funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations (DEEWR).
BIZLINK was established in 1992 to provide a specialist employment service to school leavers with disability living in the northern suburbs of Perth. BIZLINK expanded its service in 1994 to include job seekers with a range of disabilities and of diverse age groups. Today BIZLINK accepts referrals from a number of sources including Centrelink, self, schools, community organisations and interagency.
Most job seekers will require a Job Capacity Assessment (JCA) and the local Centrelink can assist with this. Job seekers can call BIZLINK on 9300 2144 for more information on eligibility and how to register. Our service areas are the North Metro and the Central and West Metro of Perth. We have offices in Joondalup and Rockingham. BIZLINK offers people with disability a range of integrated employment, education, training and vocational development options. Job seekers and their support network, where involved, work together with BIZLINK Coordinators to design their own program of work related activities based on their (potential) skills, choice and aspirations.
BIZLINK selectively matches job seekers to fill the criteria of each job vacancy and can then provide on-site training, support and advice. BIZLINK continues to support workers as required - reducing or increasing, providing on or off-site assistance to meet the needs of the worker and employer.
BIZLINK aims to provide the best possible employment assistance and support. We work together with consumers to achieve their employment goals. To ensure we are meeting consumer needs, our Charter and Value Statement reflects the beliefs and mission of the BIZLINK Team:
