TASTE School To Work Transition

Transition Assistance Success To Employment

TASTE equips students with the skills to prepare for, find and keep a job. Students with disability who live in the Perth Metro may be eligible for our Disability Employment Service (DES) or NDIS School Leaver Employment Supports (SLES).

BIZLINK uses early intervention and school partnerships to give students an opportunity to secure quality jobs in open employment. Since 1992, we have supported school leavers in their transition from school to work.

Testimonials

Logo image of Port School"Our school has had the privilege of working closely with BIZLINK, and I am pleased to share our positive experiences and the substantial impact they have had on our students... Through tailored career counselling and a client centred approach, BIZLINK has empowered our students, instilling confidence and equipping them with the skills required to succeed in the workplace... Our partnership with BIZLINK has not only focused on employment outcomes but has fostered a deeper understanding of the challenges and opportunities faced by our students. Through joint initiatives, such as work experience placements and employer engagement programs, BIZLINK has helped bridge the gap between education and employment. These initiatives have provided our students with real-world exposure, enhancing their readiness for the workforce and increasing their employment prospects." Denise Hardie, RTO/VET Manager, Port School

Logo image of Rockingham Senior High School ESC"For over 10 years, BIZLINK has been a vital partner to Rockingham Senior High School Education Support Centre, providing essential support to our most vulnerable students with disabilities as they transition from school to the workplace. BIZLINK has been key in securing suitable work placements, delivering work readiness training, including interview preparation and techniques, and offering on-the-job support as opportunities arise. The dedicated team at BIZLINK Rockingham have collaborated closely with our staff to ensure our students have a clear path to employment and further training opportunities after graduation. By initiating this process during the students' final years of schooling, BIZLINK ensures a smoother transition from school to work, giving our students time to build relationships with the consultants and gain a thorough understanding of the working world before they leave our education system." Yours sincerely, Margaret Keen, Principal RSHS Education Support Centre
