TAFE Specialist Employment Partnership

Are you at studying at TAFE? Have you engaged with your local Jobs and Skills Centre?

The TAFE Specialist Employment Partnership (TSEP) pilot project is a collaboration between the National Disability Coordination Office (NDCO), BIZLINK, South Metropolitan TAFE (SMT) and North Metropolitan TAFE (NMT).

The SMT 12-month pilot commenced in March 2020 and the NMT commenced in September 2020. Hosted within the Jobs and Skills Centre, the pilot aims to improve transitions to employment and increase graduate employment outcomes for students and Jobs and Skills Centre clients with a disability.

A TSEP consultant from BIZLINK attends various campuses across the Perth metro area to give on-campus advice on linking with a Disability Employment Service (DES). They liaise with Jobs and Skills Centre (JSC) staff and Student Support Services.

Whilst the BIZLINK consultant will be located across campuses, they provide a flexible approach and can meet with people off campus or via email/phone to enable as much accessibility to the program as possible.

More information on the TSEP program can be found on the partnership webpage
